Elektre receives support from the DRAC
24.04.2025
Our new show “Opa” is supported by the DRAC Île-de-France, as part of its support for artistic creation.
Thanks to this support from the Ministry of Culture, we were able to begin in-depth work on staging, musical composition, and set design, in collaboration with our network of partners. “Opa” is a cry of celebration, exile, and rebirth: a new chapter begins for Elektre.

After performing at the MaMa Festival alongside other finalists, Elektre was named the winner of the 2024 Prix des Musiques d'Ici (Marie-Laure Lakhdar / Bernard Guinard). Awarded by the Villes des Musiques du Monde network, the prize provided us with tailored support that enabled us to develop our new show "Opa," in addition to increasing our visibility and opening up new opportunities nationally.

Technical residencies with a sound and lighting engineer, building an original repertoire...
Thanks to the commitment of Jean-Christophe Delcroix (director) and Laurent Mercier (mediation), we benefited from comprehensive support throughout the 2024-2025 season: distribution, strategic advice, stage coaching, assistance with application preparation (including the FoRTE application), and networking with programmers, publishers, and festivals. A huge thank you to them 💙
2024-2025
Elektre was supported by the MJC de Sceaux's "Le Déclencheur" program, dedicated to fostering emerging musical projects, during the 2024-25 academic year. This support allowed us to benefit from residencies, invaluable coaching time with Françoise Fognini, rehearsal time, and a strong local connection, thanks to Jessie Royer, Patrick Dethorey, and Pierre Bohey. The MJC de Sceaux provided us with a supportive environment to experiment, develop our sonic and stage identity, and connect with audiences.

Elektre was among the projects identified during Emergence Day 2025, a professional event organized by the Hauts-de-Seine Department as part of the Chorus Prize. The day was dedicated to discovering the emerging music scene in the Île-de-France region, with numerous programmers, industry professionals, and jury members in attendance.
Our showcase on the stage of La Seine Musicale marked an important step in the dissemination of the project, strengthening our visibility among key players in the contemporary music network.
2023-2024
Having just finished our very first performance at the We Too Festival in September 2023, we won Women Beats, a support program designed to promote female and gender minority artists in contemporary music. This initiative, led by Daphné Honigman and Charlotte de Kerros, provided us with residency time, stage coaching, extensive advice, networking opportunities, and increased visibility. It was an inspiring collective experience, a blend of mentorship, sisterhood, and artistic power, which helped Elektre emerge.
